A very good agency to deal with.
Dealt with everything from the start and made the operation of buying our first house in Portugal very easy, from the Portuguese paperwork to choosing the tiles and finishing's for the house.

We would not hesitate in recommending Villa Luz Home Estate Agents for properties in Portugal’s Silver Coast. We have been in touch with this company for a few years now and been getting regular updates on properties available ever since. During our visit to Portugal in July 2008, we had the opportunity to work closely with some of their staff and received first class attention from some of their staff.
Fernando and Justino were always very attentive and they worked tirelessly to put together some of their properties for us to look at and we even had the chance to meet some of the owners. Their explanations and advice assisted us in gathering information on the area we intend buying. We felt very much at ease after we talked to them a few times and came away with a good indication on the type of property we intend purchasing in the near future. We are now also confident that the Silver Coast is the area for us to settle in, when we retire. We will be returning to Portugal in the near future to make a final decision on the property we will be purchasing and will certainly remain in touch with Villa Luz.

We liked the area very much, some of the countryside reminded us of England. Your website is very good and I find it very user friendly . The service afforded to us by your company is first class. You have asked for feedback, but as you will know, Gill & I are most happy with what your firm has been able to do for us since January. I have looked at your website yesterday and, in common with most agencies in Portugal, it is not the easiest to navigate around. I also think the quality of photography could be even better. It does make a difference for someone looking at properties from another country to be able to get a feel for what a property is really like. The quality on your website is much better than most agencies, but I think well thought out pictures will grab the attention of potential buyers….for instance, look at the photograph attached I took at Orlando’s house in Vimeiro, which tells me much more about where this quite expensive property is…….

We loved Portugal and it is still our intention to retire there. However, the property market in the UK is very slow in the present credit crunch. As a result, sales and actual completions are very few and far between. Hence, we are still trying to wind up our affairs here. Once we have completed the process, we will be back to Portugal to make a firm offer for a suitable property and quickly conclude a deal.
Our experience with Villas Luz was generally a good one. The website is comprehensive with a description of the areas for which you market properties. From the outset, we got an enthusiastic response. The staff are helpful and viewings arranged with the minimum of fuss or delay. We do therefore have a good opinion of your agency (and one other we also experienced good service). We are only sorry that circumstances prevent us from buying a property today. But, watch this space. We will be back and we hope it will be very soon. In the meanwhile, we keep ourselves advised by regularly visiting your website.
